Ana Voichita Tebeanu is a PhD lecturer at the Department of Teacher Training and Social Sciences of the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania. She is at the same time a clinical psychologist, her PhD thesis being on the expressive aspect of language and metaphor understanding in people with schizophrenia, research she conducted in Romania and France using the Rorschach projective test (of inkblots). She teaches courses in Educational Psychology, Adolescent, Youth and Adult Psycho-pedagogy and Research Ethics and Academic Integrity, among others.
She is interested in fantasy literature, philosophy, the investigation of metaphorical language through literature or clinical research on human personality, adult learning, changing value and motivational systems in contemporary society, and the intersection of applied ethics and new technologies and AI on human thinking. In her spare time, she travels, writes essays, draws mandalas and collects stones from rivers and lakes with her children.
